Electricity has made such an improvement to western society. In Europe we use 50 hz cycle while in USA and Canada it is 60 hz cycle. This electricity should be clean with perfect sine waves. Unfortunately high frequencies can mix with this 50 hz and be transmitted around your home, school, office, etc. this phenomenon is called ‘Dirty Electricity’. A book was written by Dr. Samuel Millan called ‘Dirty Electricity: Electrification and the Diseases of Civilization’ and it describes how as we have increased electrification in our society there has also been an increase in related diseases. His studies clearly show a link between various diseases and corresponding ‘Dirty Electricity’ in the homes or workplaces of the people who are sick. Also studies by Dr. Martin Graham, Professor Emeritus at UC Berkeley and Dave Stetzer, President of Stetzer Electric Wisconsin devised a method by which these high frequencies can be measured. They use a meter called a Graham Stetzer meter (GS Meter) and get results in GS units. Ideally an electric socket should have a value below 30 GS but below 50GS is acceptable. Dr. Millan found that buildings near mobile phone masts or near other communication systems can have values up in the hundreds. These values corresponded with illnesses in the homes of the people living in them.
We can also generate dirty electricity at home without knowing it with so called improvements in electronic equipment using switch mode power supplies, dimmer switches, compact flouresent light bulbs, etc. These can also generate high frequencies which feed back onto the mains to be immersed on electric cables resulting in dirty electricity around your home. These high frequencies don’t just travel through the electric wiring they will also radiate out into the rooms. Lots of in depth studies have been carried out by Magda Havas, PhD that show this dirty electricity has detrimental effects on our blood transport resulting in a wide range of illnesses. It can also be the cause of headaches, pins needles, fibromyalgia, and other diseases. Thankfully you can overcome this by using specially designed filters that plug into the mains socket called GS Filters. These filters cut out the high frequencies and should bring values to below 50 gs.
